Ok we have all been tempted to by the latest most expensive racket. The one which you think will make you have a dream smash or make your game ten times better! The one that has technological advancements that you can't pronounce. The one that has so much technology related to badminton , but you have no clue what it does!
Yes don't be embarrased we have all been there!
Well you shouldn't care!
Don't go and spend hundreds of pounds when you can get your perfect racket for much cheaper.
Most people will buy the latest racket and think this will help them play badminotn better , but it won't! Most of the time cheaper rackets will be much better , and also leaving you with money to enjoy with!
This also stops the grief after breaking your racket , with a really expensive racket - you think , no! I have lost that racket!
With a cheap but amazing racket - you will probably think , no problem I'll get another one!
So , just don't care about the latest technology!
The latest racket design which reduces air resistance by 3%! So you pay hundreds of pounds more for?
No , so what can you spend the money on to improve your badminton game?
Strings are more important for your badminton game with the traditional rule for tension being , higher tension , less power more accuracy , lower tension , more power , less accuracy. But just choose the right tension FOR YOU , not the 35 lbs , which the best players have .
A good coach. Get a good coach , not a cheepy coach which knows nothing about badminton , not an expensive coach which charges way too much , a good coach for a reasonable price! this will help your game much mroe than the latest badminton racket.
Good shoes - yes don't buy the latest racket when you don't have shoes which have grip :D.
Get a good fitting pair of shoes , as these are important in your game.
